Actually, that is incorrect pwnage. This is the engine's capabilities that an independent modder created. However, Valve is useless and probably won't go too far out of their comfort zone. We will see what they do with DotA 2 and CS:GO. If those games are solid and look nice then they might make EP3 amazing.

Over Christmas I used my old parts to build my buddy a computer that would play MW3 and others. He just gave me a "giftbasket" which included Skyrim for me

1.6 hitboxes seem more refined and smaller. I guess I shouldnt mix up the easiness of Sources hitbox with them. Going from Source --> 1.6 makes it seem like the latter has no reg.
Regardless, that reminds me of 1.5 (never got that into 1.6).
